Free, nationwide support for people affected by crime and traumatic events.
We are here for you, 24/7.
Change the script on victim blaming.
If someone you care about was a victim of crime,
what would you say to them? Many victims are blamed for what happened to them - often by people they know.
What we say when someone opens up
can make a real difference.

Your Messages of Support
You found your self in a situation(s) that were not yours to control. You did your best to use logic and reason to make the violence (of any kind) stop. Sometimes you thought you were successful only to find out you were not. All this takes bravery and courage. Remember that. Remember too, that people may make assumptions about what happened but you and only you knows the truth. Stand up and be proud of of yourself. You are a survivor.
Abuse visits us but it is not us. The abusers are rarely brought to trial under our system of injustice. Many powerful abusers are adept at controlling the narrative via the media. Survivors need and deserve support. And they need a system that supports them. I stand with all survivors and I believe them.
We need to protect and serve 🥰
I am a male survivor of horrific abuse throughout my childhood and still get bullied and treated like a leper in society. I get told I asked for it, why didn't I stand up to my abusers when I was growing up, and apparently I must have enjoyed it because I didn't try and stop it. It wasn't my fault nor was I a coward for not standing up to my abusers.IT IS NOT OUR FAULT!!
Is is not your fault. Keep strong. Kia kaha. Know that people are behind you.
I am a victim and my kids and I have been publicly harassed, thrown at, bullied by police, shamed into hiding, laughed at daily by members of the public etc I will not stop teaching and helping support others no matter what a predator offers me I will not back down noe ever give up on justice
