18 May Join Us! Counties Manukau Volunteer Meet-up & Information Evening
Are you based in the Counties-Manukau District? Are you looking for a chance to give back to your community and meet great people?
Come along to our Counties Manukau volunteer meet-up and information evening!
You’ll have the chance to meet our volunteers in a casual social setting, learn more about how you too could make a difference as a Victim Support volunteer, and find out whether it’s right for you.
Victim Support volunteers are people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds who give up a small amount of time each week to help people who have experienced the trauma of a crime or tragic event.
You don’t have to be a qualified social worker to be a volunteer. We look for people with the right mix of compassion, patience, and good judgement, and provide heaps of training and support to equip you with all the skills you need to help people in their hour of need.
So come along, have a drink and a bite to eat with us, and find out more!
When: 6.30pm, Wednesday 30 May
Where: Manukau Super Strike, 573 Great South Road, Manukau
RSVP and Queries: By phone on 09 263 2779 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
