Offer of Assistance from Victim Support

12 January 2005

Victim Support has been providing a Crisis Support Service to returning survivors at all international airports and supporting those families who are anxiously awaiting news of relatives who were thought to be in the affected areas.

Victim Support has identified the possibility that there are families who may not have received contact from Victim Support and may be finding it emotionally difficult to deal with the trauma of the tsunami impact on their family for whatever reason.

Anyone who is distressed due to the tsunami and associated stress can access Victim Support by ringing 0800 VICTIM (842 846) at anytime or ringing their local police station.
